About 0:20 on June 18 th，we learned from Xi'an Power Supply Bureau that there were two explosions happened at Chang’an district in Xi'an city. These two explosions caused a brief power outage in the southern suburbs of Xi'an.

It is worth noting that the Samsung factory is located in southern suburbs of Xi'an which is very close to the explosion point. Due to power outage caused by the explosion, the Samsung factory in Xi'an sustained a few seconds power failure.The power failure led to a large area of workshop downtime, equipment downtime, etc. The loss is still be counted currently.

ChinaFlashMarket considers that the wafer loss caused by Samsung Xi'an factory outage will affect the Samsung SSD producing.In the beginning of Q3 which should be the blooming quarter of preparing stock is probably getting worse due to the shortage of Nand Flash supply and it seems that this situation will last till second half of 2016.
