Production of the Nexus 9 has come to an end. HTC confirmed to CNET that it had stopped making the device, which came out in October 2014 for $399 (16 GB). The tablet disappeared from Google's store in April, though HTC continues to sell some models through its online store.
HTC's partnership with Google for its Nexus devices will reportedly continue with two new Android N products, codenamed Sailfish and Marlin.
From the beginning, the Nexus 9 wasn't as popular as the smaller Nexus 7 and higher-priced tablets have generally had a hard time in the market. |
