The lack of flagship Windows 10 Mobile smartphones isn't due to not supporting high-end chipset, in fact the operating system allegedly supports the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset. The chipset was spotted on the company's hardware requirements support page.
The Qualcomm MSM8998 chipset, which is rumored to be the upcoming Snapdragon 830 processor, is still a mystery to us and we don't even have enough details about the upcoming Snapdragon 823 chipset. The Snapdragon 830 is rumoured to be made using a 10nm manufacturing process and will support up to 8 GB of RAM.
