Apple may come out with two ultra-thin MacBooks in the next few months, with a release occurring in June or July. DigiTimes reports the upcoming 13 and 15-inch laptop models are set for a launch by the end of the second quarter, meaning it'd make sense for them to be announced during WWDC.
The MacBooks use a "design similar to the existing 12-inch MacBook" and they'll be even "thinner than the existing MacBook Air." It's not entirely clear if these new MacBooks are part of the Air line or another set of Apple laptops.
Based on an earlier report from November 2015, it is possible the laptops could be thinner 13 and 15-inch MacBook Airs. If that report is accurate, they'll use "fully redesigned" internal components. |
