IC packagers Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) and Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL) have reported on-year decreases of 7.0% and 3.6%, respectively, in consolidated revenues for February 2016.
ASE's consolidated revenues, which consist of revenues generated by EMS subsidiary Universal Scientific Industrial (USI), fell 16.7% sequentially to NT$17.65 billion (US$539.4 million) in February.
ASE's core assembly test and material (ATM) business posted revenues of NT$11.38 billion in February 2016, down 3.3% on month and 6.6% on year.
ASE's consolidated revenues for the first two months of 2016 amounted to NT$38.82 billion, down 8.3% from a year earlier.
SPIL announced February consolidated revenues of NT$6.25 billion, down 5.8% sequentially. The company's cumulative 2016 revenues through February totaled NT$12.88 billion, down 3.6% on year. |
