The third generation Moto G smartphone owners in India will be happy to hear that the company is now rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. This comes only a week after Motorola released the same update in the United States and Canada, and more regions will follow soon.

The update weighs in at around 2 GB and carries a software version of 24.11.25.en.US. Except for the standard Android 6.0 goodies, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions, the update also pack Google's security patches for the last month of 2015.
