Oppo has just announced a new entry-level Android smartphone in China. Dubbed the Oppo A33, the phone will first go on sale in China and then will probably be released in a few other markets. It comes with a price tag of 1,499 Yuan, which converts to around $230.
It is available in white and black color options, and although it's a budget phone, the phone featres a metal frame, and glass on the front and the back.
The Oppo A33 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 (qHD), a Snapdragon 410 chipset with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz and paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. An 8MP camera is in the back, and the 5MP unit in front. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Color OS 2.1 operating system. |
