The next chapter in Samsung's big M.2 PCIe SSD push will be even more affordable post-SATA SSDs. The company is reportedly giving final touches to an affordable M.2 PCIe SSD, called the 750 EVO. This drive will be significantly cheaper than the 950 Pro, while still offering better transfer rates than the company's fastest SATA SSD. The drive will take advantage of the NVMe protocol, for significantly higher random-access performance. It will likely feature the company's latest TLC flash tech. Samsung is looking at a late-November launch for these drives.
