Packaging and testing company Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL) has reported consolidated revenues of NT$7.07 billion (US$217.62 million) for October 2015, up 1.5% sequentially but down 4.3% on year.
SPIL's cumulative 2015 revenues through October reached NT$69.14 billion, up a slight 0.2% from a year earlier.
SPIL chairman Bough Lin said previously that customers continue to work off a glut of chip inventory in the fourth quarter of 2015. The company estimated revenues would register flat growth or decrease up to 6% sequentially in the fourth quarter.
SPIL's sales generated from the communications, PC, consumer electronics and memory segments, which all dropped in the third quarter, will continue to fall but only slightly in the fourth quarter, the company said. |
