BlackBerry is now accepting preorders for its Priv smartphone in the United States. The phone is going to ship out on November 6 and it can be ordered now for $699. With that relatively high price tag, BlackBerry's Android phone will compete against other Android handsets like the Galaxy Note 5 and Nexus 6P.

Included with the BlackBerry Priv is a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 32 GB of storage, 3 GB of RAM, an 18-megapixel camera, and a 3410 mAh battery.

The Priv only works on AT&T and T-Mobile.

Preorders have also begun in the UK for £559 and in Canada for $899.
