Packaging and testing house Silicon Precision Industries (SPIL) has posted consolidated revenues of NT$20.03 billion (US$613.3 million) for the third quarter of 2015, above its guidance range of NT$18.6 billion to NT$19.8 billion.

SPIL's revenues for third-quarter 2015 represented decreases of 5.7% on quarter and 7.5% on year.

SPIL generated revenues of NT$6.96 billion in September 2015, down about 4% on year but up 3.7% on month. Revenues totaled NT$62.08 billion for the first nine months of 2015, increasing 0.7% from a year ago.

SPIL also disclosed its unaudited earnings results for the third quarter of 2015. Net profits for the quarter came to NT$2.68 billion, down 27% sequentially and 17.7% compared to the same period in 2014. The company posted earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.86 in the third quarter compared with NT$1.18 in the prior quarter.
