NAND flash controller chip maker Phison Electronics saw its revenues increase 21% on month and 8.7% on year to a record high of NT$3.317 billion (US$104.8 million) in July, the company has reported.

For the first seven months of 2015, revenues amounted to NT$20.1 billion, increasing 6.7% from a year earlier period.

Phison is expected to garner revenues of NT$9-10 billion in the third quarter of 2015 compared to NT$8.42 billion recorded in the previous quarter, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report, citing sources at local securities investment houses.

Phison posted an EPS of NT$4.52 in the first quarter of 2015 and is expected to scoop up a similar amount of EPS in the second quarter, the paper estimated.

Phison's share price edged down NT$3.5 to close at NT$225.5 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the August 6 session.
