Apple is reportedly increasing its production of the new generation of iPhones which include Force Touch, a feature that was introduced with the Apple Watch and some Macs. Force Touch is one of the main features coming to the next iPhone. It lets users apply various levels of pressure to an iPhone's screen to activate different functions.

Bloomberg's sources have said manufacturing volume for the Force Touch-enabled iPhones will increase significantly next month. It is relatively easy for Apple's partners to mass produce the new phones since they are reportedly similar in design to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Force Touch will make the new iPhone 0.15 mm longer and 0.2 mm thicker, according to a report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
