DRAM chipmakers Inotera Memories and Nanya Technology have both reported revenue decreases for May 2015.
Inotera estimated that its May revenues decreased 5.5% sequentially to NT$5.51 billion (US$177.2 million). The figure represents a decline of 26.4% compared to the same period in 2014.
Inotera noted that as its customer is unable to provide final prices by the 10th of each month due to its closing cycle, the company will reveal its final revenues later in the month.
Nanya announced consolidated revenues of about NT$3.8 billion for May 2015, down 3% on month and 8.6% on year. Revenues totaled NT$19.74 billion for the first five months of 2015, up 1.1% from a year earlier. |
