Memory module maker Adata Technology has announced the company will buy back shares worth up to NT$5.56 billion (US$182 million) and give them to employees.

Adata's board of directors has approved plans to buy back 10 million of its own shares from May 13 to July 12 between a share price of NT$28.10 and NT$74.60.

In other news, Adata has reported net profits of NT$27.1 million on consolidated revenues of NT$5.46 billion for the first quarter of 2015. EPS for the quarter came to NT$0.12.
