IC packaging and testing company Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL), which saw its revenues decrease 6.6% sequentially in April, is expected to see its May revenues rebound, according to a recent Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Citing market watchers, the report indicated SPIL is expected to deliver steady performance in the second quarter of 2015. SPIL will see its May revenues rebound to a sequential growth pattern, followed by a substantial revenue increase in June, the watchers were quoted as saying.

SPIL has reported consolidated revenues of NT$6.955 billion (US$227 million) for April 2015, up 1.9% on year. Revenues totaled NT$27.76 billion for the first four months of 2015, rising 11.6% from a year ago.

SPIL estimated previously that revenues for second-quarter 2015 would be between NT$21.2 billion and NT$22.4 billion, representing growth of 2-8% sequentially. Company chairman Bough Lin noted that sales generated from the communications market would continue to grow, while those from the PC and consumer electronics segments would register slight increases.
