Powertech Technology, which mainly provides backend services for DRAM and NAND flash memory, saw consolidated revenues rise 5.9% on quarter to NT$9.84 billion (US$321 million) in the third quarter of 2010. The results met the company's guidance of 5-7% sequential growth.
PTI has reported consolidated revenues of NT$3.32 billion for September, a record high for the sixth straight month. The company accumulated NT$27.77 billion in consolidated sales from January to September, showing 30.85% growth from the same period of 2009.
PTI will discuss further details at its third-quarter investors conference on October 26.
Fellow packaging and testing firm Walton Advanced Engineering saw revenues also hit a monthly record in September, according to the company. Walton generated revenues of NT$1.98 billion in the third quarter, up 6.1% on quarter but slightly missing its estimate of 7-10% growth.
