China Telecom on April 28 released its first-quarter 2015 financial report, with revenues of CNY81.453 (US$13.06 billion) decreasing 2.1% on year and net profit dropping 9% to CNY5.046 billion.
China Telecom had 16.75 million 4G mobile communication subscribers, 108.25 million CDMA 2000 (3G) ones and 64 million 2G ones, and 108 million fixed-line broadband Internet-access subscribers as of the end of first-quarter 2015.
3G/4G mobile access to the Internet amounted to total traffic of 94,000TB and 2G/3G voice communications amounted to 158.38 billion minutes during the first quarter, China Telecom said.
