To compete with increasing number of affordable Chromebooks, ASUS is preparing yet another Chromebook laptop. The C201 Chromebook aims at customers that are searching for the lowest cost Chromebook at the market, which should have a price tag of only $169.
Thanks to the listing in an American education re-seller catalog, most of the specs are known. The C201 will feature an 11.6-inch HD display that is powered by a Rockchip RK3288 clocked at 1.33 GHz paired with a Mali-T674 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage. There will also be a 4 GB / 32 GB SSD variant for those looking at a slightly better performance and more storage. |
