Microsoft has high hopes with Windows 10 OS and therefore they are thinking about everything before announcing it. Today, the company has announced "Minimum System HW Requirements & Compatibility for Windows Platforms," so users could prepare before it arrives.

The picture above reveals Windows 10 desktop requirements. The current Windows 10 technical preview has the following requirements:

1 GHz CPU or faster

1 GB of RAM (for 32-bit) or 2 GB of RAM (for 64-bit)

16 GB storage capacity

Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver or better

A Microsoft account along with Internet access.

Along with the desktop requirements, Microsoft also revealed the Windows 10 Mobile specs.
