Entry-level devices are very important to manufacturers since they make the most money, while the flagship devices are more about prestige. Following the recent announcement of a flagship Galaxy Tab A tablet, Samsung has unveiled a new budget tablet called Galaxy Tab 3 V.

The tablet features a 7-inch TN display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, a quad-core processor from Spreadtrum clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB internal storage that is expandable via microSD card slot, and a 3,600 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has a 2-megapixel camera on the front as well as on the rear.
