Just in time for holidays, Dell has refreshed its 8-inch Windows tablet with a new Venue 8 Pro 3000 model. This budget 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet comes with a starting price of $200, which is about $50 less than the company's Venue 5000 series tablet.

Dell Venue 8 Pro 3000 features an 8-inch IPS display with 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution, an Atom Z3735G processor, 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which is nice for a budget tablet. The tablet lacks the active digitizer so there is no support for a pressure sensitive pen.

The rest of the specs are a 5-megapixel rear and a 1.2-megapixel front camera, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, single-band 802.11n WiFi. Dimensions are 8.5" x 5.1" x 0.35" and it weighs 381 grams. Dell Venue 8 Pro 3000 is available in two color options, black and white.
