Powertech Technology (PTI) has announced consolidated revenues for June 2010 hit a record high of NT$3.18 billion (US$99 million).
PTI saw consolidated figures total NT$9.285 billion in the second quarter, compared to NT$8.65 billion posted in the first quarter. The 7% sales growth was in line with the company's guidance.
PTI was quoted in previous reports saying its order visibility has been stretched to the fourth quarter. Revenues for the third and fourth quarters are both expected to grow at a single-digit rate sequentially.
PTI will hold an investors conference on July 29 to review its second-quarter results, and offer guidance for the third quarter.
In other news, PTI has issued a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) to deny recent market rumors indicating that the company plans to acquire Thailin Semiconductor to expand its capacity.
