Micromax is finally ready to enter the Windows Phone market. A teaser image released by the Indian manufacturer confirms that a Windows Phone powered device will be launched on June 16th. However, reports suggest that Micromax is working on two handsets, not one.
One of them will be a budget entrant, costing between Rs. 6,000-7,000 ($104-120). The other device, a higher-end offering, will cost between Rs. 10,000-11,000 ($173-190).
Rumors suggest that Micromax is also working on a flagship Windows Phone device powered by a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5-inch Full HD display, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage.
Earlier this year, Microsoft had officially announced Micromax to be one of their newest Windows Phone partners. |
