China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT) aims to ship about two million Ultra HD TV panels in 2014, according to industry sources.

　　CSOT will focus mainly on 49- and 55-inch Ultra HD TV panel production in 2014 as part of its efforts to bump up production of high-end TV panel technology.

　　The company is expected to produce the technology on its 8.5G line, and is currently bumping up production capacity in order to meet expected demand throughout the year.

　　Most panels are expected to go to China-based TV vendor TCL.

　　CSOT will still mainly focus on LCD TV panel production in 2014, with 32-inch units expected to make up its largest shipment proportion.
