April 22- Hynix Semiconductor said on Thursday the average price of its dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips would continue rising in the second quarter and a price decline later in the year would be limited.
"We expect supply to rise going into the second half but a significant growth in supply is structurally limited," Hynix CFO M.C. Kim told an investor conference call.
NAND flash memory shipments would rise sharply in the second quarter despite falling prices, Hynix said.
