Acer has announced net loss per share of NT$0.13 for the second quarter due to increased cost from rising DRAM quotes and investment to strengthen the company's industrial design capability.

　　Acer recorded consolidated revenues of NT$89.378 billion (US$2.99 billion), gross margin of 8.37%, net operating loss of NT$613 million, and net loss of NT$343 million for the second quarter. For January-June, Acer posted consolidated revenues of NT$181.351 billion, gross margin of 8.44%, net operating loss of NT$585 million, net profit of NT$171 million and net EPS of NT$0.06.
