Consolidated revenues at memory module maker Adata Technology registered a 57% sequential increase in May 2013, hitting the highest monthly level in 30 months.
Adata has announced May consolidated revenues of NT$3.55 billion (US$119 million). Sales for the first five months of 2013 amounted to NT$13.45 billion, rising 15.7% from a year ago.
Adata credited its positive May results to a ramp-up in DRAM demand coming from the mobile device sector, which is expected to continue its growth momentum through the end of 2013. As for NAND flash, the company expects to see orders pick up soon on seasonality.
DRAM revenues accounted for 62% Adata's May sales, while NAND flash and other products made up the remainder, the company disclosed.
