Taiwan-based memory module makers including Adada Technology, Transcend Information and InnoDisk all plan to showcase their latest SSD solutions for business or industrial applications at the upcoming Computex Taipei 2013 exhibition from June 4-8.
Adata will highlight its new enterprise SSD family, the SX1000L, at the show. Available in a 2.5-inch standard SATA form factor, the SX1000L implements advanced controller technology to achieve enhanced read/write performance.
The SX1000L employs static wear-leveling technology to maximize device mean time between failures (MTBF) to 1.5 million hours, providing the long-term dependability required by high density computing and heavy load server operations, according to company data.
Transcend Information plans to present a complete range of SSD solutions, including its latest SATA II 3Gb/s MSM610 mSATA mini SSD, targeted at industrial control systems.
Fully compliant with the SATA II 3Gb/s specification and built with industry-leading toggle-mode MLC NAND flash chips, the MSM610 mSATA mini SSD boasts blazing fast sequential read and write speeds up to 245 and 48 MB/s respectively. This outstanding performance translates into reduced boot up and data transfer times, superior application launch speed, and enhanced overall system responsiveness, Transcend said.
The MSM610 mSATA mini SSD measures 26.8 × 29.85 × 3.85mm and offers excellent design flexibility to manufacturers of space-restricted embedded applications, including tablets, smartphones, ultrabooks, e-book readers, navigation systems, set-top boxes, hand-held scanners, mini PCs, and other compact devices, said the company.
InnoDisk, which specializes in flash storage devices for industrial applications and embedded systems, is announcing the release of the world's first SATA device that meets SATA microSSD standards, the nanoSSD.
The nanoSSD integrates InnoDisk ID167 NAND flash controller and latest NAND flash in a JEDEC MO-276 form factor with one single ball grid array (BGA) package, which makes nanoSSD within a tiny dimension, and very easy to design in. The nanoSSD , supporting SATA III 6.0Gbp/s , enables high read/write speeds of 480 and 175 MB/s, respectively, along with lower power consumption. The nanoSSD can be incorporated into a broad range of applications, including industrial mobile devices, embedded systems, tablets, ultrabooks and high-end smartphones, revealed the company.
