Fujitsu on January 17 unveiled the LifeBook CH702, a 13.3-inch Windows 8 ultrabook "specifically designed for females", for launch in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$59,800 (US$2,055).
The LifeBook CH702 features Intel's Core i5-3317 processor, an HD LCD screen, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB SATA hard disk drive plus 24GB iSSD, dimensions of 322 (W) by 228.5 (H) by 17.5(D)mm and a weight of 1.45kg.
Fujitsu will increase the proportion of notebooks to be launched in the Asia Pacific market in 2013 that are Japan-produced high-end models from 30% originally to 50-60%, and decrease ODM-produced models to 40-50%, the company indicated. Fujitsu's ODMs include Taiwan-based Quanta Computer and Inventec. |
