Zhang Hongtao, chief engineer of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, said that the resumption rate of about 1,800 key enterprises in the city exceeds 70%, and the resumption rate of the first batch of about 660 key enterprises exceeds 90%.

Key industrial chains such as automobiles, biomedicine, and integrated circuits continue recovery and production capacity enhancement, and leading companies continue to maintain stable production.

Zhang Hongtao points out that the resumption of work and production of industrial enterprises in Shanghai is generally stable and positive, and there is no need and should not increase conditions for enterprises to resume work.
