The CINNO Research report pointed out that the demand of global smartphone on the terminal consumer market is sluggish. Under the traditional off-season, coupled with macro factors such as geopolitical turmoil and repeated epidemics,various brands have revised down the demand for smartphone panels, which is suitable for AMOLED of mid-to-high-end models.

Smartphone panel shipments were also lower than the expected. Data shown that in the first quarter of 2022, the global market for AMOLED smartphone panel shipments was about 152 million, down 8.0% from the same period last year, and down 28.4% from the fourth quarter of last year.
