At the CES 2018 Innovation Awards, Samsung silently unveiled the next generation chipset called Exynos 9810. Details are still scarce, but it is said that it will feature 3rd generation custom Samsung cores and we can expect to see it with Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

The latest flagship chipset is built using M3 core and the 2nd generation 10-nanometer FinFET process technology. It has LTE Cat.18 6CA-supported modem that offers maximum download speed of up to 1.2Gbp (Cat.18), an upgraded GPU that is probably the Mali-G72 GPU and should offer up to 40% improvement in performance.

As Galaxy S9 enters mass production, we should see some benchmark results so stay tuned.
