Smartphone manufacturers are having hard times breaking even from selling new models. We have all heard what happened to HTC and LeEco, but another top-tier company is having similar problems. LG Electronics has now posted its Q3 2017 financial results, which shows that its mobile division continues losing money, despite having great flagship smartphones.

The most profitable divisions are Home Appliance and Air Solution, while the mobile division lost around $331.37 million. The company posted revenue of $13.44 billion, which is a 15% increase from Q3 2016 and the operating income almost doubled to $455.7 million.
