It is pretty obvious by now that Apple will not have enough iPhone X units at launch due to various production issues. With the iPhone X slated to hit store shelves on November 3, Apple Inc.'s Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams is gearing up to meet with the chairman of Foxconn Technology Group Terry Gou because of those issues and future plans.

Only 3 million units will be available at launch and new reports claim that Foxconn will ship around 25-30 million iPhone X units by the end of 2017. This is 10 million less than it was originally thought.

On the other hand, the iPhone X shipments are expected to reach a 50% on-quarter growth in Q1 2018 as Apple's suppliers for 3D sensing modules, LG Innotek and Sharp, will start ramping up shipments in November and December.
