A batch of iPhone X units has left China for the first time, with the devices coming from Foxconn. According to Xinhuanet, the manufacturer shipped 46,500 units from Zhengzhou and Shanghai to the Netherlands and United Arab Emirates, respectively. It's a relatively small batch.

Manufacturing has been held up due to components like the TrueDepth camera, which debuts on the iPhone X.

Production is estimated to be at 400,000 units per week, according to Nikkei. There's expected to be a lack of supplies for some time after the phone becomes available.
