During the India Mobile Congress 2017 in Delhi, MediaTek has announced a new entry-level chipset called MediaTek MT6739. The chipset comes with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and supports 720p resolution, two main cameras, 18:9 aspect ratio, dual SIM cards and dual VoLTE.

The successor to the MT6735 is expected to be released by the end of 2017. Aside from that chipset, the company also introduced Helio P23 with dual VoLTE for the Indian market. The P23 chipset will be available in India and the global market by end of this year.
