Just hours after users spotted that Huawei has taken down all EMUI firmwares from its official download page, another XDA member has released more information about the Android 8.0 Oreo update for Huawei smartphones. According to him, at least two Huawei models, the Honor 8 Pro and Honor 6X, will be getting the new operating system.

The company confirmed it will be releasing Oreo updates and has even shared expected roll out time-frames. The Honor 8 Pro will get the update in December 2017, while the Honor 6X will get it in January 2018.
