With already curved displays, it is only a matter of time before we start seeing foldable smartphones. Such smartphones are probably the future, but it will take some time before the technology evolves. Still, companies need to start somewhere and ZTE is already developed its first dual-screen foldable smartphone.

According to Evan Blass, ZTE and AT&T will launch a phone next month, called Axon Multy. The device will have a vertical hinge, allowing users to fold the phone. Basically it will be a horizontal clamshell. Even when it is folded, the device is only 10mm thick.

The exact specifications are not yet confirmed, but it is rumoured to include a Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 20-megapixel camera and a 3,120 mAh battery.
