Xiaomi Mi 6 was one of the first flagship smartphones announced in 2017, and as we are in the second half of the year, details about its successor are starting to leak online. The Mi 6 was announced in April, but reportedly Xiaomi plans to announce the Mi 7 earlier.

An industry insider has revealed on Weibo that the Mi 7 will arrive in the first half of 2017 and will be powered by Snapdragon 845. Since we are also hearing that Samsung will once again have first dibs at the chipset, this could result in a very limited availability at first. The Xiaomi phone is also said to feature a 6-inch OLED display from Samsung.
