Sony Introduces New Flagship Xperia Smartphones

Sony Xperia XZ1 is finally official. At IFA 2017, Sony has unveiled two premium Xperia smartphones called Xperia XZ1 and a compact version called Xperia XZ1 Compact. Both smartphones are very similar in terms of specifications and the main difference is the size.

The XZ1 Compact comes in White Silver, Black, Horizon Blue and Twilight Pink, while the Xperia XZ1 comes in Moonlit Blue, Venus Pink, Warm Silver, and Black colors and will roll out globally starting from September 2017.

Sony Xperia XZ1 packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display inside a metal body, while the Compact model has a 4.6-inch 720p display. They both have IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance and even the same 2,700 mAh battery.
