With Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, Samsung made a deal with Qualcomm to have first dibs at the new Snapdragon 835. That looked like a great move as the smartphones sold 15% more than the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge models. Because of that, the South Korean giant has reportedly took the same approach with the Snapdragon 845.

According to new details, Samsung will get the entire initial Snapdragon 845 supply for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus models. According to a Weibo blogger with a pretty good track record, Samsung and Qualcomm have already arranged the supply of next-gen flagship chipsets.
