Currently the world's second largest smartphone maker Huawei is working on its flagship smartphone for the second half of the year. To have enough units of the Mate 10, Huawei has reportedly started mass production earlier this month of the chipset that will power the phablet.

While we have yet to see any benchmarks, it is said that the Kirin 970 will compete with Qualcomm and Samsung for the top spot. It will be made using a 10nm process and could be the first mobile processor that will be some sort of enhanced AI features. Huawei also recently said that the chipset will include a state-of-the-art GPU that is more powerful than anything yet released.
