The wearble market in the United States isn't doing great and has been struggling for months, but globally it is still growing. According to a report by Canalys, the smart wearables market rose 8% year on year for a total of 21.6 million units shipped in the second quarter of the year.

The top spot is reserved of Xiaomi, which is first for the company. In the second quarter, the company shipped 3.5-3.7 million units, while Fitbit shipped 3.3-3.4 million units, which is a significant 34% year-on-year slump. In third is Apple, with 2.7-2.8 million units shipped.
