After being quiet for most of the year, Meizu has started releasing new products, starting with recently announced Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. The company has now sent out press invites for another event that will take place in China, on August 23.

The main star of the event will be a successor to the last year's M5 Note, which is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and pack a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The phone is rumorued to be priced at around $230, but stay tuned for more information
