Lenovo might be one of the worst companies when it comes to updates and therefore has decided to make a drastic turn. Every new smartphone that comes from the company will now ship with stock Android operating system, which might not be a bad thing as users will be able to download updates as soon as they are released from Google.

The first such smartphone is Lenovo K8 Note, which is now officially announced. The phone has a metal chassis that packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display and 2.5D curved glass, MediaTek Helio X23 chipset, 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. It is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for turbo charging, and also includes a 13 MP camera at the back and a 5 MP front shooter.

The phone will go up for sale exclusively on Amazon India starting August 18, priced at $200.
