Many smartphone companies, including Samsung, Apple, LG, are gearing up to launch new premium phones. Samsung and LG are preparing two flagship phablets, and reportedly Xiaomi is looking to join the battle. The Chinese company is now rumoured to announce the Mi Note 3 by the end of the month, instead of the traditional October/November period.

While it might be announced this month, it will go on sale in early September. In terms of specifications, the phablet is expected to pack a Samsung-made Super AMOLED touchscreen with Quad HD resolution, Snapdragon 835, 6 GB of RAM and run MIUI 9.
