The world's first smartphone with 8 GB of RAM that also supports Google's VR and AR platform has finally arrived in the US. The ASUS ZenFone AR is now available for pre-order from Verizon, which will be the exclusive provider of the VR- and AR-powered smartphone.

The phone with 128 GB of storage is listed for $648 outright or $27 a month with a two-year contract, and we currently have no information when the shipments will begin. At some point in near future, ASUS will sell the ZenFone AR in unlocked form as well.
