As promised, Motorola has just announced its new flagship smartphone at #hellomotoworld event in New York City. The new Moto Z2 Force comes with very thin metal unibody that measures only 6.1mm and houses a 5.5-inch ShatterProof display. The company even offers warranty against shattering and cracking of display and embedded lens for 4 years, which is definitely impressive.

The heart of the phone is Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage and a relatively small 2,730 mAh battery. The rear side packs dual 12 MP cameras, one monochrome and one color that offer blur effect to the background or foreground using depth of field. Thanks to 16pin connector on the back, it still supports Moto Mods accessories.

The phone will go on sale on August 10 priced at $799 and is already available for pre-order in the US.
