Apple is going to come out with three OLED iPhone models next year, expanding from the one OLED model that's expected later in 2017. Nikkei claims Apple has adjusted its plan so that all iPhones launched "from the second half of 2018" will use the upgraded display technology.

Earlier reports indicated Apple wasn't going to make a complete switch until 2019, but now supply chain sources indicate it's being more aggressive with its OLED push.

Apple is also likely coming out with three iPhone models this year (more than the usual two), but two are still offering LCD.
